Sandra Mora-Viera, D.O.M.

Doctor of Oriental Medicine, MD (Colombia)

Dr. Mora is an Acupuncture Physician in the state of Florida and a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, as designated by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). She received the designation for diplomat status in both, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. She holds certification in Acupuncture Injection Therapy and Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation.

Dr Mora is licensed, as well, by the State of North Carolina and active member of the NCAAOM (North Carolina Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine)

Sandra got her training in the oldest acupuncture school in Florida (Acupuncture and Massage College of Miami). During her course, she had the opportunity to intern under the direction of Chinese Professors/Doctors who came to this country from Beijing and Shanghai Medical Universities of China. During her training, she was one of the three national USA recipients for the scholarships awarded by the Asian Medicine Institute (California), for one of the best GPA (Grade Point Average), student performance, and essay about "Leadership and Traditional Chinese Medicine".

Dr. Mora has a background in Western Medicine as well, having practiced for 10 years as a Medical Doctor in Colombia, her country of origin. After she moved to the United States in 2000, she initially worked as a Cardiac Sonographer at Cardiologist Offices at Mount Sinai Hospital of Miami.

Dr Mora graduated with honors, received the Valedictorian Award of Excellence, and earned a Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine. During a short period of time, she worked as Acupuncture Clinic Supervisor at the AMC (Acupuncture and Massage College of Miami). Currently, she has her practice in Pembroke Pines-Florida.

Sandra has dedicated herself to this field, practicing with Love, Compassion, and Service.

My name is Jennifer Ortiz and I am a Certified Holistic Health Coach and Mental Health Counselor. I have over eight years of experience in the counseling field working with children, families, and busy professionals to help them develop effective ways to maintain good emotional and physical health. I have received my education and clinical training from St. Thomas University in Miami Florida where I obtained my Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling. I was awarded my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The College of New Rochelle in New York. I am a Board Certified Professional Counselor with the American Psychotherapy Association and a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with the Florida Department of Health under clinical supervision. In addition, I am also a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. I received my training as a Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition's cutting-edge Health Coach Training Program. During my training, I studied dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. I specialize in nutrition, mood disorders, eating disorders, weight management, childhood obesity, women's health, and prevention education for children on health and well-being. William has a background of over 15 years of experience as a personal trainer.
